Durante a semana de 21 a 25 de setembro de 2026, o mercado interno de algodão apresentou baixa liquidez, com negócios esporádicos e queda das cotações nas principais praças monitoradas pela Conab, conforme a análise semanal do órgão. Segundo a Conab, a diminuição das bases de compra encontrou resistência por parte dos vendedores, que se mantiveram mais retraídos na oferta, ampliando a diferença entre as pontas e restringindo a concretização de negócios.
Preços no mercado interno
Na média da semana, o valor recebido pelo produtor no Mato Grosso foi de R$ 132,12 por arroba, com recuo de 1,29% ante a semana anterior. Na Bahia, a média alcançou R$ 142,67 por arroba, queda de 0,70%. Em São Paulo, o preço no atacado ficou em R$ 142,89 por arroba, com redução de 2,54%.
O preço mínimo da pluma foi apontado em R$ 114,58 por arroba. Para Rondonópolis, no Mato Grosso, a referência foi apresentada sem restituição de ICMS.
Mercado externo
No cenário internacional, as cotações variaram ao longo da semana, influenciadas sobretudo pelo comportamento do dólar e do petróleo. A alta do petróleo deu suporte às cotações em parte do período, enquanto o fortalecimento da moeda norte-americana pressionou os preços. As condições das lavouras e o avanço da colheita nos Estados Unidos também seguiram no radar dos agentes.
Na média semanal, a cotação de primeira entrega em Nova Iorque ficou em 79,37 cents por libra-peso, recuo de 0,28% em relação à semana anterior. O Índice A de Liverpool apresentou queda mais acentuada, com média de 92,76 cents por libra-peso, redução de 2,96% na mesma comparação.

Os dados divulgados pela Conab incluem paridades de importação e exportação, preços ao produtor, preço efetivo e preço no atacado em São Paulo sem ICMS, além de cotações internacionais. A operação com drawback foi associada a imposto de importação de 0%.
